About the Dojo
AI at the office is a craft, not magic. If you practice, you get good at it. If you only marvel, you stay a spectator and may end up paying for something you already have.
Why I am building the Dojo
People need to know what they need. If you know me or my Power Platform tips, you know that I very often solve things with standard tools, without extra licenses. With Copilot it is exactly the same. Many think they need premium and cannot do anything with the standard. Often that is not true.
My best example is on the page “Is Microsoft Copilot free?”: Texts that follow your style guide, with the Prompt Coach agent.
How the Dojo works
- Techniques instead of tricks. Every technique is a short exercise you can repeat, with a result you measure yourself. Here, this measurement is called “The check”.
- No sentence without evidence. Every factual statement carries a source on Microsoft Learn and the date on which I read it.
- First comes what works without an add-on license. After that comes what needs a license or capacity.
The Dojo rules
- Check what you did not write yourself.
- Make nothing up. What is missing stays open.
- Use what you already have first.
- Practice before equipment.
Method
Every statement is read against the linked page on Microsoft Learn. Below each technique you find its sources and the date of that reading as its status date. The page “Is Microsoft Copilot free?” was first checked on October 13, 2026, the techniques on October 15, 2026. If Microsoft changes something, the linked source applies.
If I have run a technique myself in Microsoft Copilot Chat, its page also says so, with the date. What changes after a check is listed in the check log.
Cards on the table
This site is free and will stay free. It sets no cookies and only counts visits anonymously. I am a trainer at the Power Platform Academy. There you find the live course “Copilot Ninja in 4 Wochen” (in German) with its own curriculum. If you do not want to practice live, just take the techniques with you.
What this site is not
Not an offering from Microsoft. No licensing advice: for your case, ask your IT or your Microsoft partner.
The web address names the product it is about. That does not mean Microsoft operates or supports the site.
Tusch, your training partner
The figure is called Tusch, after the ink (German “Tusche”) it is drawn with. In German, a “Tusch” is also the short fanfare played when someone is honored. You get one here as soon as you reach a belt.
Tusch always wears your belt and holds a brush. There are no weapons in the Dojo. You are the ninja, Tusch just practices along.
