When the presentation needs images

The situation

The presentation for the customer event is done, but the images come from everywhere. Together they look like a flea market.

Prompt to copy

Goal: Create an image for a presentation slide.

Context: The presentation is for [Occasion, e.g. a customer event]. All images in this presentation should look like they come from one hand.

Expectations:
Subject: [Subject, e.g. two hands placing a puzzle piece into an office building]
Style: Ink drawing, flat, lots of white space, only [Accent color, e.g. dark red] and black.
Format: Landscape. Subject in the right half, empty space on the left for text.
Exclusions: no text in the image, no logos, no well-known characters, no real people.

No add-on license, in Microsoft Copilot Chat with image generation. Without a copy button: select the text and copy it with Ctrl+C.

How to use it

  1. Fill in occasion, subject and accent color, then send.
  2. If the image does not fit, change exactly one building block, usually the subject, and generate again.
  3. Style, format and exclusions stay the same for all slides. Save them as your building kit.
  4. Check every image for text, logos and faces before it goes on the slide.

How to spot a good answer

  • A landscape image with empty space on the left.
  • Only the chosen accent color and black.
  • No text, no logos, no recognizable people.

The check

Time it from “I need an image” to “image is on the slide”, once with an image search and once with the building kit.

Limits

  • According to Microsoft, image generation in Microsoft Copilot Chat has limits. The pages we checked give no numbers.
  • If image generation is missing for you, ask your IT.
  • This page makes no statement about usage rights for generated images. Clarify that yourself for your use.
  • The image may contain text or logos despite the exclusions. You check before using it.
